In a collaborative effort to improve hearing care, Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. and WS Audiology (WSA) inaugurated the BestSound Center (BSC) 3.0 in Jammu on October 16, 2026. This new facility promises to elevate the standards of audiological support in Jammu & Kashmir, particularly for those who face barriers to accessing quality hearing aids.

The launch event also featured a generous initiative where WSA, together with the Suryoday Foundation, donated 150 hearing aids to 75 underprivileged residents of Jammu. This act underscores their commitment to enhancing accessibility to vital hearing healthcare.

Located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-180004, the newly opened center embraces a modern and consumer-friendly approach to hearing care. Aimed at shifting away from traditional clinical settings, the BSC 3.0 creates an inviting atmosphere where individuals can receive personalized hearing evaluations.

According to the World Health Organization, around 63 million people in India suffer from significant auditory impairment. With an alarming projection that the number of individuals with disabling hearing loss could rise to 700 million globally by 2050, the need for accessible hearing care in regions like Jammu has never been more pressing.

“Access to hearing care shouldn’t be determined by where you live or what you can afford,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India. “With the BSC 3.0, residents of Jammu & Kashmir can benefit from the same level of care and technology enjoyed globally.”

The BestSound Center employs state-of-the-art hearing evaluation tools and accommodates various other features, including dedicated areas for diagnostics, counseling, product trials, and aftercare. By removing the traditional clinical ambience, the center invites visitors to interact and experience hearing solutions in real-life scenarios.

One of the standout offerings of the BSC is the availability of two prominent hearing aid brands: Signia and Widex. Each brand caters to distinct preferences in hearing technology, ensuring tailored solutions for individuals based on their specific auditory needs. This approach reflects the understanding that sound preference varies greatly among listeners.

“When we began this initiative, we envisioned a facility that provides world-class audiological expertise,” remarked Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “Our collaboration with WSA truly brings this vision to life, allowing us to offer advanced hearing care directly within our community.”

The Suryoday Foundation played an essential role by identifying individuals affected by hearing loss who could not afford treatment. Trained professionals assessed their needs and fitted them with hearing aids, mitigating financial barriers that often prevent people from seeking care.

For many beneficiaries, costly hearing aids have kept them isolated from personal and professional interactions. “Hearing care should be accessible to everyone who needs it,” emphasized Mr. Pawar. “Through BSC 3.0, we strive to help people reconstruct their social connections and enhance their lives.”

Both WSA and Hearing Help envision expanding outreach efforts beyond the center through hearing awareness campaigns and screening initiatives throughout Jammu. It is their hope that through education and compassionate care, residents will feel empowered to seek the hearing solutions they deserve.

The BestSound Center 3.0 stands not just as a facility, but as a transformative force, urging the community to proactively pursue better hearing health and a higher quality of life.
